HERE COMES THE NATIONS, & THE ONES WHO NEED HOPE

WEATHER REPORT: Can you smell it in the air? The corn is high and the fields are ready. Prepare your combines, and take up your plows. The season is upon us. It's harvest season in the Midwest. Long hours but the reward is rich.

May Jesus alone be glorified. Oct. 2nd, 2024

“I WILL SEE IT AND REMEMBER THE EVERLASTING COVENANT.”

The Bible has a great emphasis on remembrance. 237 times the Bible speaks about this theme and the importance of keeping the faithfulness of God before us.Micah 3:16 "Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name."

What God has done here is something to be remembered. This week in the staff prayer the team took time to remember by recounting the outpouring as we have experienced thus far. Each of their experiences and encounters has varied the thread, however, is the same. Jesus is moving in power in us, among us, and The Vineyard once again.

As playful as this newspaper is, I feel strongly it is like stones of remembrance like Joshua instructs the Israelites to place. "In the future, when your children ask their fathers, "What is the meaning of these stones?" you should tell your children.." (Josh. 4) Someday we can look back at 2024 and all that has happened with deep thankfulness on all that the Lord has done here in our house, in our own lives, and if it to be in our city, in our state, our region, our movement, our nation and in this generation. May Jesus alone be glorified.

"Well it is Harvest Season." Julie Yoder staff prayer 10/1/24

"For the last three months, I saw Jesus with a torch.

And He was the one carrying it and He was lighting the fires in us. We are stepping into a season where He is handing us torches. And we are called to carry. He wants willing and obedient torch bearers. That we take up the fire and learn to handle it. So I bless right now our hearts and our hands, our ears and our voices. To say yes, to take that torch, to take your fire, to take what you are doing not what we are doing. To begin to learn and grow to carry the torch to light others up with you." Mike Yoder

"Well, it is Harvest season."

"I believe if your heart is just burning for people to know Jesus and lead them into an actual relationship. I believe you are to stand. God, we thank you for these harvesters. And now we pray that your power would come. That you would draw people into a relationship with you. We release boldness now. In Jesus name. More Jesus. Eyes to see now." Julie Yoder

Matther 9:35-38 * And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. " Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; " therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

Toronto and the Prophetic Promise | Prophetic word from July 5th, 1993 (6months before the outpouring)

There are going to be two basic stages in this process, which are represented by the two stages in Ezekiel's vision of the valley of dry bones.

In the first stage, the dry bones will receive muscle, sinew and flesh. This is the prophetic stage, where the Church and the leaders begin to seek the Father and cry out to Him for grace, mercy and a sovereign move of His Spirit. It is during this time that leaders are going to come together for prayer, with a new attitude of humility as they realize that the Lord is calling us to do things which are completely beyond our abilities and past experiences...In the same way the Father is going to be speaking things to leaders that will appear [equally as impossible] in our understanding of what. can happen in our time and culture.

I mean, I want the blow up, on Wednesday, I want the blow-up, you can’t move, the seats go flying. I actually think it will unify us more than any of the talks. An encounter with God together will set the whole movement up.
